Why BARF
A dog is a predator, and its digestion is designed for raw meat — not grains and kibble. A raw diet is almost fully absorbed, which you'll usually notice from the stool, coat, and steady energy within a few weeks. Plus, dogs simply love real meat — even the picky ones.

What is BARF
BARF — Biologically Appropriate Raw Food — is a feeding system based on raw meat, bones, offal and a small amount of vegetables. It was developed by Australian veterinarian Ian Billinghurst in the 1990s.
We prepare diets from fresh meat and offal with seasonal vegetables, berries and herbs. We freeze immediately after preparation — no preservatives, dyes or heat treatment.

- Adults: 2–3% of body weight per day.

Consult your vet, especially when switching from kibble. Raw meat requires basic hygiene: wash hands and bowls after feeding.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to cook BARF?
No. The diet is fully ready — just thaw it. Take a pack out the evening before and place it in the fridge; before feeding, let it sit for 15–30 minutes at room temperature. Do not microwave.
Can I refreeze it?
A fully thawed pack — no. If the food has only started to thaw and is still firm, you can put it back in the freezer. An opened pack keeps in the fridge for up to 3 days.
My dog won't eat it or eats poorly?
This is normal after kibble with flavour enhancers — the dog needs time to adjust. Start small: mix a little raw food into the usual diet and gradually increase the share — there's a guide in the "Transition over 7–10 days" section. Most dogs get into it within one to two weeks.
Can I mix it with dry food?
Adding a small amount of meat to quality dry food — up to about 10% of the diet — is usually safe. If the share is larger, it's better to separate raw and dry into different feedings and keep that schedule consistent. If in doubt, ask your vet.
How do I calculate a portion?
An adult dog needs 2–3% of body weight per day: the more active the dog, the closer to 3%. Puppies need more — up to 7% of weight. The easiest way is to use the calculator above — it will show grams, packs per day, and monthly supply.
